Spend the night at Fall Creek Falls State Park

We’ll see: Fall Creek Falls; Great Falls; Burgess Falls

We’ll meet at Weigel’s in Lenoir City (intersection of Hwy 70 & Hwy 321) at 9:00 AM. Departure is planned for 9:30 AM, using scenic roads, arriving in Dayton, TN around 11:00 AM for their annual Tennessee Strawberry Festival. Around 3:00 PM, we’ll head over to Fall Creek Falls State Park for some falls viewing, dinner at their new restaurant, some social time if you’re still awake, and then a good night’s sleep at the brand new Lodge. The complimentary breakfast will start us on our way to Rock Island SP, Burgess Falls SP, and Cumberland Mountain SP for lunch at the park restaurant. After lunch, it’ll be homeward bound. The tour will cover about 115 miles on Friday and 155 miles on Saturday for a total of about 270 miles depending on where you live.

We have a block of 15 double queen rooms at the Lodge for $155 + tax. These rooms will be held until April 11th and filled on a first-come-first-served basis. You may cancel 48 hours prior to arrival and receive a 100% refund.

As a secondary option, this can be done as a day trip going to the Strawberry Festival and returning back home as you desire.
